A publishing site whose community I was a part of, haggardandhalloo.com (H&H), had appeared to have shut down a couple of years ago. I don't know why, but just now I typed in the site link and it was up and running, with all the old poems of myself and my friends up there! It's a cringeworthy blast from the past (for me), but I think I had a lot of power as a writer even then. I'm really proud of how much I've grown, as a person and as a writer. It's taken a lot of hard work to move forward as I have, and it's often difficult to believe in my 'power' I speak of, but I'm a hundred times healthier and happier than I was during the time when I was most active on H&H.

If any of you wind up going to the site, I highly recommend reading the works of my dear friends, Shannon Nicole Baker and Meghan Tennison. Anyone could learn a lot from them, and especially through their writing.

I decided to share a poem-thing I had posted on the site in 2012. It's kind of funny (hehe..."vitreous moonstone wand"), plus I've been pretty idle as writer recently, so I have no idea what to post on the blog and I want the credit.  ; )

The formatting of the text used to be all strategically indented and not just 'blah'-like like how it is now. IDK what happened, but I'm too unconcerned with realizing the indentation again to bother- though that indentation played a big part in the poem's rhythm. You'll just have to either deal or mess around with it yourself.
