New Sudden Fiction “Swimming for Shore” 

This short story pulls a lot of emotions from me, I to have lost someone close to me. The story introduces its main idea in the first paragraph, she has written a story about her boyfriends death. I felt her pain and distraught while reading the story, I just wanted to give the writer a hug. I can’t imagine how guilty she must have felt being the survivor, the survivors remorse must have eaten her mind everyday. All the what if’s, all she had to do was turn around maybe she would have seen him in distress. I don’t know how I would be able to cope with that type of situation. I still have a lot of what if’s but I know at the end of the day I wouldn’t have been able to save my mom.
