Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

Before The Train And After (Response)
I almost get schizophrenia vibes from this story because it's all happening very fast, randomly, and out of place. As if actually none of the events took place. She even does mention solitary confinement at one point in the story. This leads me to believe this was all in her head as a result of some sort of serious mental issue that wasn't directly addressed. Also the lack of emotion throughout the, what would be, traumatic events is more so the reason why I feel this is in her head.
