Well, since the play is about Matt Shepard, I thought I would share this article. The article just popped up on my phone. I do believe this play sends out a powerful message to everyone. I noticed a few things this from the movie version. A few of those things are respect, love, faith, hope, and unity. It is very important to love one another no matter the differences. Matt is a great person for who he is. Today, it would have been different for him. I thank him for being brave to say who he is. It has changed the world. May he rest in peace.
Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.
