Social Issue

My biggest social issue is discrimination against race. As a Spanish woman it's scary to even talk my native language without worrying if today is the day someone decides to tell me "I should speak English." I have seen so many different videos of this very thing happening and I wouldn't know what to do if it was me. I would be able to stand up for another person but would I be too embarrassed to stand up for me? Also with Trump as president, a man of power who in my eyes is racist. This has me wondering what the world is coming to. Will we have segregation again, when the "White" Americans can have more privilege than a Spanish, Black, or Asian American. A time when we must use different restrooms or different schools because we as "Colored" are not good enough to co-exist. What will happen to our children would they have to live in that type of horrific world? Never knowing that they are good enough to deserve the best in life. I know it hasn't been long since the end of segregation, I'm afraid it might happen again.
