Immigration

As an immigrant who came here 10 years ago, the Immigration policies and changes president Trump wants and is already changing, do not only bother me but can affect me and those who I love. This land did not belong to Americans, and everyone here but native Americans are immigrants to this land. Just because you weren't born in place doesn't mean is not your home. It hurts to know parents are being deported and separated from families, if something like that happened to me, I don't know what I would do. How can a person go back to the country they were born in, after living in another one for such a long time. I’m not American but I sure support this country better citizen than a lot of people born here. My parents brought me here to have a better life and education. I have taken advantage of that, and I will be the first to graduate from college in my family. I have cousins that were born here and didnt even make it to senior year in High School. Deporting immigrants who benefit this country’s economy will be a downfall. The more opportunities in jobs and education you provide for immigrants the more a country will grow. How can immigrants be stealing Americans jobs, if the Americans were never doing or will do that job anyways.
