Letter from Williamsburg

The intro of this story is to introduce people to different types of prayers and sort of  tell us what is a sin. She is explaining that we try not to think of girls and masturbation. It's a sin to God. But we as humans have a hard time not to think of it. She explains that these thoughts come naturally to us. We can not avoid these thoughts. She says once you do this the prayer doesn't exist. She goes to a yoga class to figure out what others want.


The conclusion of this story talks about how she understood the difference between having faith and having a relationship with someone. It seems like the relationship took her out of faith. But she still wanted to pray. She ended up not praying like she had ended her faith. She was stuck with the relationship and faded away from faith. The relationship has changed her from the what she believed in.
