When reading this poem I was thrown by its structure. I haven't seen any poem in such form but i still wouldn't debunk it as a poem because isn't it that rules do not apply to poetry? While reading the poem it made me picture someone on a first date. When made to think and analyze the pronouns of the poem I thought that it might a person being a third wheel on a date. When reading the second line which was in italic I interpreted that as thoughts but later on there are other lines with italics and I wouldn't label the other words as thoughts.
