Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

This is what it means to say Phoenix, AZ
I f I had to write a movie based off a an hour half movie I would make it as dramatic and complex but smooth at the same time. I would want it as engaging and thrilling not like a horror thriller but like i want to give the viewer more. I would narrative for the first 15-20 min so the viewer could get a huge concept of what the movie is going to be then throw in the plot and let it play out until the end. That way the movie isn't dry and has a slow start which makes the viewer not want to watch the film.
