The Rememberer

This is clearly written in the first person point of view where the character Annie is speaking about her lover? this short is a little off-putting for me because I'm not sure if the person she speaks of existed. when continuing on we see her referencing to his demise as his last human day and that made me think that he was a person full of life that lost his memory or sense of reality.

the part that stuck out to me is last day I saw him human, he was sad about the world. this was not unusual. he was always sad about the world. its was a large reason why I loved him. we'd sit together and be sad and think about being sad and sometimes discuss sadness. this stuck out to me because of the description of the relationship they may have had. usually people gravitate to people that portray characteristics on the opposite side of the spectrum but the indulged together.
