Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

Response to The Rememberer
The first paragraph sets the general idea of the story by introducing reverse evolution. And as the story goes on, it got more specific as to what she was talking about. Her lover was sick and unable to do anything for himself. She took it upon herself to be his caretaker and that made me feel like she really did love him. It's as if she made the vow to love him through sickness and health. As, with reverse evolution, it made me time about a saying, "Once a man, twice a child". And that is reflected in this story. He was a baby, then a man and now a baby again.
