First when I
read the story the beginning of it sound philosophical to me “first there was a
god or gods…” it’s the questions we all ask ourselves as human beings, how we
got here ? , if there is a god?, or is it more to this universe than this world
we live in? it starts with w little summery of the world creation as most of
know about if it’s from the bible or scientific evidence of life in this earth,
as I continue reading the author starts describe her personal relationship given
some metaphors , but in a really short brief details which still can be
understood by the reader. Through the history of her relationship (=marriage)
she talks about the ups and down in a way I can relate to her as a person
everyone going through some bad times, she as well as every person can go
through difficulties in life. It’s like a journey of life in a really brief
tell all and you can still see all the obstacles she been going through from
chemotherapy, cheating, losing a child it gives everything without having to
question where is this story leading to, I felt the pain the author has dealt
with, how she and her husband still had to move on with their lives after they
lost their son, I can’t imagine how it feels, and then again the thought of
adopting a cat after tragedy like this thinking it will help with the grief
process. This story bring all emotions in one story; empathy, sadness,
happiness through the beginning to the end it felt like a ride on a roller coaster
of life where we all going to be one day.
I also think the same while reading it. It tells us almost everything about the human life in a type of way, like as if someone else from a different planet was reading it, they will get a rough idea about us here. It started from the beginning of evolution to the end. She described almost every aspect of her life as time goes by. There is definitely a lot of emotions in this story.
