The Laramie project II

I think memories or moments in life are like a scene in a play. So instead of setting the atmosphere for the next act it's easier to set the atmosphere through reflection. We can always reflect back on the emptiness of a past conversation or a past experience that has happened. So I believe the author saw this and felt like it's easier to get a reader or get the actor to evolve into the character, it puts feeling and life into the play.
