Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 220 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

The Laramie Project act 2
The authors in "The Laramie Project" include all the people they interview to tell the story. For example, they use moments the people in Laramie have lived. These moments/memories create more of a sensitivity to the topic because it becomes personal. Also, it shows the reality of these people's life at that time and what their emotions were. You can see the people care a lot about the town imagine just in this small part of the play. The set up of the play is different and I feel like since theres many characters you can get lost in it. However, the moments the characters are describing are so vivid that it makes you feel connected to them and the town. The choice of words in the play makes it interesting.
