“The documentary play”

“The documentary play” by Jeffery Solomon was very interesting for many reasons. I love how he chose a immigrant who behavior wasn’t “innocent” he lived Two lives one that started back when he was living in Guatemala as a gang member of Ms13 and that carried over when he moved to the States with his mother. Edgar Chocoy ran to drama when his life was in shambles. Jeffery Solomon also set the play up to appeal to his audience senses to make them feel the pain of a youth, undocumented immigrant by doing this he was able to influence the audience “knowing” of a immigrant life.
