Social Issue

A social issue I care about is the prices of apartments in the city. The city being Manhattan in New York City. The average rent for a 1 bedroom apartment goes for about $2,000. Why, oh why, is it so expensive. Minimum wage can hardly cut it and it's downright ridiculous. I care about it because growing up in New York, it's always been my dream to live in the City ever since I was a child. Hopefully one day the price will go down enough that I can live my dream and also afford to eat.
