Chiasson was having a dream if he was with the nun when she was with the man who gave her the coin. He wanted to be that man. He imagined traveling to Paris and the fair with they nun. i felt that he did not know the difference between reality and imagination. He imagined children which he does not have. Its a wish that he really wants, but cannot have. ether because of war or because of personal interference. His dream is to be some one and continue life with them. His dream is to travel and see the world. He wants to do all of that, but reality gets in his way
