dewdrops
               drip
                     drip
                           drop from her face
                           they remembered, they always
                           remembered, the dead
                       no longer remembered who
                       or what they fought for
                                    but the rust and flowers always
                                                                           remembered her.
she stopped, paused


blue meeting blue
in rot and ruin.
