This quote from the story The remeberer by Aimee Bender truly hits home for me. i believe i know what it feels like to know someone very well and then suddenly not know them at all. of course not to the extent of the protagonist in this story but i can relate. do you know the feeling of having to remind someone if they remember them after loving them with every fiber of your being? then wishing that one day that they will go back to the way they once were. the pain is unbearable but necessary. with that i hope my feelings have been conveyed but in terms of relation to the story this quote embodies it completely, reverse evolution is not an easy thing to handle.
