Sudden Fiction “ A history of everything, including you”

This piece introduced its main ideas in the title, it talks of evolution and how we became a civilization; it also mentions another person. I believe the writer is talking in past tense then switches to present tense after her husband dies. This short story is very sad, I can feel the writers pain of losing someone she loved through thick and thin. The realism portrayed in this short story can have anyone relate to her pain and love. The questions I have reading this short story is how does she continue living her life after losing someone so close her to her? From my own experiences of losing a family member it’s been months since my mother passing and it hurts just like it was yesterday. It’s a hard transition for myself, I am wondering how she could just pick up the broken pieces to her heart and continue on?
