Letter from Williamsburg intro/conclusion

In the introduction of "Letter from Williamsburg" by Kristin Dombek. Is different from what most introductions do. For example, it starts by talking about god and different kind of prayers, instead of introducing the place first, is told at the end of the introduction. It gives you a perspective that the essay is going to be about god and the different types of prayers and the experiences with praying. It throws a lot of things at once and there is no thesis; is like the thesis is all over the beginning. It feels like the author is just writing down their thoughts and not being precise.

In the conclusion, it gives it an ending to the relationships she was having. Also, it gives a perspective on what she thinks about what is like to believe in god. She ends it with the same scene of the intro in her college bedroom. Instead of giving it a present or future ending, it ends with a memory from the beginning of the essay. Showing us the exact moment of when stopped believing.
