Introduction

i feel a similar type of way to what the author is saying but i still remain distant from religion for many other reasons. i too sought the comfort of a deity that had no proof of its existence yet i deemed it necessary so that i could move on through life. i have had my fair share of sexual interactions with woman and the way she describes thing is not far from the reality of it all. but how brings good into the grand scheme of things is a bit bizarre. the ideology of religion is to devote oneself completely and if not you are not considered to be part of that faith. many dont know this and i can bet the author didnt, so the way she presents here ideas has no integrity to me but i recognize the attempt and point she is trying to convey just from this intro. 

Conclusion

we are meticulously monitored through the beginning stages of our lives until we can identify ourselves in various aspects and the author truly has a predisposition to anti-religous ideology but expresses herself in such a way that you pity her because she seemed to have learned through a rather unconventional manner. quite the unique author and at the end of this she finally told us the foreshadowed outcome we saw in the introduction.
