Bicentennial

I love the line "the sliver of history / fate is allowing them (the children just born) to see." It seems like the truth of all of us humans. We're privileged to see a tiny sliver of history. We read history and we realize we're such a tiny part of it. We look at the expansion of the universe and we know that we're even tinier.
