Response to Bicentennial Stanza 19

Bicentennial
Stanza 19

I believe this stanza is describing his visit to the bicentennial party from his childhood. His surroundings by the lake, the music playing around him, his emotions and what he can see from his view. Mr. Chiasson goes on stating he is having his childhood right now and how he describes it as "Great." This will be the only thing from his childhood that he remembers as being great, having experienced this once in a life time event. As we get older we tend to forget our childhood's memories and the little details during important events during our younger days.
